Do I need to install anything on my website?
No. Site Mapped fetches your site exactly the way a visitor would. Optional verification uses a DNS TXT record, a /.well-known file, or a hidden marker, whichever is easiest for you.
Will Site Mapped slow down or scrape my site?
We crawl with a clearly identified bot user agent, respect bounded plan limits, and read at most a couple of megabytes per page. Crawls run on the cadence your plan allows, not constantly.
What happens when my site goes down?
We send an email immediately to the owner and admins of your organization, with the failing URL, HTTP status (when available), and a link straight to the dashboard. We de-duplicate alerts so you don't get spammed.
Can I monitor a customer's website?
Yes, as long as you have permission to monitor it. Acceptable use covers websites you own, manage, or are authorized to test. Probing private networks or third-party systems is not allowed.
How does billing work?
Paid plans use PayPal Subscriptions. Paid limits unlock only after PayPal confirms activation. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the billing page without contacting us.
What if I cancel?
Your account drops back to the free plan. Historical data is retained according to your previous plan's retention window so you don't lose context immediately.
