What it does

SiteMappedBot performs bounded automated website checks requested by Site Mapped users. It checks public URLs for uptime, redirects, response timing, HTTPS signals, robots.txt, sitemap references, visible HTML links, basic metadata, and lightweight resource availability.

How often it checks

Frequency depends on the customer plan. Free sites are checked less often, while paid plans may check uptime more frequently and crawl more pages. Site Mapped does not perform unbounded crawling or browser rendering.

How to block or contact us

You can block SiteMappedBot using robots.txt or server rules. If you believe SiteMappedBot is checking a site without authorization, contact support@site-mapped.com with the domain and request details.
